In the Memory of Late S.Trilok Singh 1990 to 2015

The Artist left heavenly abode on December 11,1990. His yougest son Jotinder Singh and his family was living with his father. His youngest son was was looking after the paintings with very much care and love. Jotinder Singh did last rites of his mother in June 1990 and then his father in December 1990.

As per the registered Will of the Artist, Jotinder Singh became owner of the his father's works. He maintained and perserved the works of his father with care. Both elder brothers gone to court that the will is false but court it is genuine document. Jotinder Singh living in portion given in the Will at Chitralok, Arjan nagar, near Modi College, Patiala.

The very first step was, start up of On-the-Spot Painting competition of Patiala School students from 1991 with the help of Guru Arjan Kirtan to be hld in the month of May. This On-the-Spot Painting competition is still continue. Refreshments were provided and School wise students are being awarded with momentos and certificates in memorary of the S. Trilok Singh Artist.

Painting Competition since 1991

On-the-spot-Painting competition of school students is conducted every year in the month of May since 1991 with the help of Guru Arjan Kirtan Mandal. This competition is dedicated to Late S. Trilok Singh Artist. At present more than 25 schools participates.

52^nd All India 52nd. All India Sikh Educational Conference held at pologround Patiala 1992. They dedicated the Art section to late S.Trilok Singh Artist Chitralok, Patiala. The works of the ArtistTrilok Singh were displayed there for 3 days the exibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by S. Gurcharan Singh Tohra, President, SGPC , Amritsar and Principal S.Satbir Singh.

An exhibition of A. Trilok Singh Artist's paintings were held in Yamunanagar ( HR ) in 1994. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Education Minister, Haryana. They honoured the Artist's son Jotinder Singh.

North Zone Cultural Center, Govt. of India prepared a documentary film having title " Great Master of North Zone S. Trilok Singh Artist -- An Eminient Chitarkar" in 1995

Ph.D degree - Art of Trilok Singh

Jotinder Singh and his family is thankful to Dr. Saroj Kumari Sharma, Director , Museum and Art Gallery, Punjabi University Patiala and his husband Colonel Sharma. They did hard work dedicatedly in research for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Ph.D degree was awarded on "ART OF TRILOK SINGH" S. Trilok Singh Artist is the first Punjabi Artist on whose works the Ph.D degree was awarded.

Gold Medal established on 17-10-2004

A Gold medal in the name of S.Trilok Singh Artist was established and awarded for the topper of M.A Fine Arts. On that ocassion S. Swaran Singh Boparai , Kirti Chakra Padma Shri , Vice Chancellor , Punjabi University, Patiala chaired the function. Er. Jotinder Singh s/o the Artist donated cheque in Endowment fund for the Gold Medal. The VC honoured Jotinder Singh with a pack of books. In the function Jotinder Singh's wife Harpal Kaur and daughter Dr. Upinder Kaur were also present. Dr. Saroj Kumari Sharma, Dr. Saroj Chaman and Head of faculty of Fine Arts and Culture Mr. Narula, Dr. DS Grewal, Dean S. Parmhans Singh and collegues from PSEB were present.

A SPIRITUAL GLOW - Dec. 2006

A SPIRITUAL GLOW An Exhibition of Paintings based on verses of Gurbani by Late S. Trilok Singh Artist in Museum and Art Gallery, Punjabi University, Patiala was inaugurated by S. Swaran Singh Boparai, Kirti Chakra, Padam Shree (awardee) on 19-12-2006. The Exhibition remained opened till 22-12-2006. Dr. Saroj Sharma, Director, Museum and Art Gallery arranged the show. The V.C has given beautiful views about the Artist.Punjabi University printed invitaion cards on this occasion.
